We are Max and Sophie and we recently bought a Mercedes Vario 614D with the dream of turning it into our very own home on wheels. In the past few months we have taken the van back to a shell, ripped up the floor and made sure we have the very best base to build our home on.

The van conversion process has been a much tougher and longer journey than we ever imagined. But it has also been very rewarding and already taught us so much about building a self sufficient home.
